828 Website Process

Kick-off Meeting
We begin with a conversation, working closely with your team to formulate the goals for the website. Our website questionnaire helps us learn about your business, your audience, the site functions you need, and the aesthetic direction of the site.

Research & Planning
Based on information gained from our kickoff meeting, we begin researching competitors' websites to ensure your design and structure is unique and highlights your comparative strengths. We'll begin to build the structure of your site's content, how a user will travel through the site, and how pages should interconnect.

Page Layouts & Styling
A lead designer will sketched concepts, wireframe page layouts, and style individual page elements. All designs go through numerous internal critiques and edits before presenting to the client.

Presentation
We'll reach out to you when our internal critiques and edits have been completed. We'll walk you through an initial set of pages following a common user-path, to determine structure and styling meet your expectations. Our presentations are shown on a staging website so that you can get a true feel for interacting with the pages.

Refinement
Based on your team’s feedback from the first presentation, we'll refine page layouts and element styling. We'll also implement all remaining pages and refine all responsive mobile layouts for tablet and phone. We'll share a link to the staging site so that you and your team can test and review at your own pace.

Preparation to Launch!
After your site structure and design has been accepted, all content has been populated, and thorough testing has been performed, we'll implement your organic SEO tags, prepare 301 redirects, bind your domain to web hosting and blast off. We'll continue to test and refine elements after launch.
